This program begins with developing a strong foundation in alignment principles and then builds on the skills and techniques for teaching yoga. Along with deepening your own practice, you will learn teaching techniques and alignment principles, use of language, observation skills, hands-on adjustments, demonstration skills, and sequencing strategies.  You will also have the opportunity to participate in various group discussions on yoga philosophy and the practice of yoga on and off the mat.

The 200-hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher training program includes:

We created these first two modules as an Urban Ashram Immersion.  Our intention is to effectively deepen your practice and study with immersive weekends that will transform, challenge, and inspire you as a student and new teacher of yoga.

How to be a conscious yoga steward (ethics, scope of practice)


Module 4: Specialized Concentration

OPTION 1: amrita yoga

  • Are you intrigued by the synthesis of Vinyasa yoga, Ayurveda and neuroscience?

  • This training emphasizes the biomechanics of alignment, anatomy and kinesiology, while addressing neuroscience, physiology, psychology, pranayama and mindfulness.

OPTION 2: Yoga & Social Justice

The 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training tuition is $3,300.
