Yoga Therapy
Yoga changed her life in so many positive and nourishing ways that she became a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher certified by the Yoga Alliance. She is on the path to obtain her 800-hour Yoga Therapist certification by summer of 2023.
After five years of training, Christine has a solid foundation in safe alignment, anatomy, and yoga philosophy and has continued her education in Yoga for Trauma and PTSD, Brain-Sensitive Yoga, Yoga Psychology, Embodied Social Justice, the Biology of Breathing for Trauma, Yoga for At-Risk Youth, and those who are in Recovery. She has also supported clients with acute and chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. She explores with her clients how they can navigate their own healing, learn how self-care impacts their immune systems and their mental health, and to embody and use practices to nurture themselves, cultivate resilience and connect to themselves in a thoughtful and loving way. Christine shares a practice that has not only given her physical relief, balance, and strength but also, as an unintended but welcome side effect, helped her find self-love, allowing her to create healthy boundaries, process difficult feelings and reconnect to her own authentic self.
