All levels of students are welcome. These are residential retreats with an online virtual participation option for those who can not join us on land at Breitenbush.
Thursday - Sunday December 12 - 15
"Yoga is an ancient method of self-healing and self-empowerment. Understanding both the dense physical body and the even more powerful subtle inner body enables us to practice yoga and pranayama as medicine.
Ayurveda also reveals to us an artful way to make wise choices in our lifestyle, daily routine, relationships with food and exercise, the whole of it, for the purposes of healing, vitality, and inner peace."
Go Deeper On Retreat Retreats are a time to go deeper into your personal practice while supported by a senior teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience and with a community of dedicated practitioners. Immersing ourselves in the ancient traditions of yoga and Ayurveda, with dedicated practice time and a community of fellow seekers, allows the teachings to penetrate us even more deeply.
Many students experience states of well-being and insight that would be otherwise unavailable in the fray of daily life. Frequently, students report lasting transformation from the depth of these retreats.
These retreats include a focus on yoga from an Ayurvedic perspective. Retreats include asana practice, pranayama and meditation, chanting practices to restore your nervous system and revitalize your endocrine and immune systems, and Dharma Study Groups.
