AMRITA YOGA
Sarahjoy's online yoga classes are grounded in the practice of amrita yoga, her signature style of yoga, which integrates vinyasa yoga with Ayurveda, neuroscience, yoga philosophy and psychology, pranayama, ​chanting, mindfulness, and dharma. Classes emphasize the biomechanics of alignment, anatomy and kinesiology, and myofascial intelligence. ​Each class is taught in alignment with the rhythms of nature according to Ayurveda. ​All classes are trauma-informed and neuro-biologically-informed to create spaces of safety and communities of connection. Sarahjoy teaches to each student's yoga experience to help them have a progressively deeper understanding of their inner yoga.

AYURVEDIC RESTORATIVE YOGA
Nourish all the systems of your body; bring health and harmony to life. ​ Practices are tailored to the seasonal dosha as well as the constitutional considerations of the students. Classes include restorative poses for digestion, endocrine and immune function, ​as well as pranayama, chanting and meditation.

 These sessions include silent meditation, group discussion, and teachings from Sarahjoy on the contemporary application of timeless philosophies for living an awakened life. Sarahjoy draws from the teachings of the dharma, yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, neuroscience, and interpersonal neurobiology.

Class Schedule

All Online Yoga Classes, Climate Awareness, and Dharma Study Groups are hosted through Sarahjoy's non-profit yoga organization, DAYA Foundation.  

Please note Sarahjoy will be in India for December into mid-January. Her classes are being led by qualified, 500hr Yoga Alliance certified yoga teachers who have trained with Sarahjoy for many years.
