Yoga Therapy
Jackie has worked with all ages of students bringing yoga, mindfulness, and neuroscience into programs including for infants, youth, young athletes and adults. A prior D1 athlete, Jackie discovered yoga after snapping her Achilles and ruprturing her patellar tendon. Seeking a gentle physical healing, for the first time in her life, she discovered yoga. Her healing journey then powerfully motivated her to join a yoga teacher training program. Jackie did her 200hr, 300hr, and her 800hr trainings with Sarahjoy Marsh.
Jackie has also served as the Aquatic Director for Waterbabies Aquatic Center. She has developed a mindfulness based Adult Learn-to-swim program, while also integrating mindfulness into the learn to swim curriculum throughout the program. She is currently in the process of developing a program for employees. One of her areas of passion is with the young athlete community, coaching Volleyball and supporting injury prevention and body awareness through yoga practices.
