​800-hour Professional Yoga
​Therapy Training Program

Accredited with International Association of Yoga Therapists

This is the highest level of training available in yoga schools. The International Association of Yoga Therapists accredits training schools that meet their rigorous criteria. The 800-hr training is comprised of our 300-hour Yoga Alliance Professional Yoga Training program, 150-hours of Mentored Practicum, and 350-hours of IAYT Yoga Therapy Training.

Pre-requisites to begin or transfer into our 800-hr certification course. These requirements are overseen by the IAYT for accredited schools to be in compliance:

• You are a qualified graduate from a different 300-hr Yoga Alliance Training program or you are a licensed health care provider.
• For Yoga Teachers, IAYT will transfer up to 150hrs of your previous 300-hr Yoga Alliance Training. Your transcripts (course curriculum, hours of standards, and attendance records) will be required, per the regulation of the IAYT. Please email transcripts to [email protected] upon submitting an application.
• All transferees, including licensed Health Care Providers and Yoga Teachers, must complete our Yoga Psychology Training Course.
• All transferees must also complete our Trauma-Informed, Brain-Sensitive Yoga Training.  
• Completion of the Languages of Yoga course for implementing skillful language methodology.
• Any required Bridge Modules need to be completed. Bridge Modules are short courses that "bridge" your prior training with our training school. For example, if your prior course did not include the study of Ayurvedic Restorative Yoga, this would module would need to be included to help you have the most well-rounded and integrated training program possible.  

Our training methodology develops each individual practitioner and creates a sense of community in the process. This is both a professional and personal journey. Who we become as Yoga Therapists relies both on what we bring to our training and development and the teachers, communities, and environments in which we study. As well, the depth of support, encouragement, compassion, and discerning input provided to each trainee is intentionally designed to nourish every participant to become the strongest, most clear, and most compassionate provider they can be. 

Graduates go on to develop their private practice, providing individual sessions for their students; as well as offering small group yoga series for therapeutic benefit to their students.
